Calgary man wanted on warrants

RCMP in Saskatchewan are passing along a release from the Calgary Police Service, who are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted on wanted on warrants for multiple commercial armed robberies from June to August.

RCMP in Saskatchewan are passing along a release from the Calgary Police Service, who are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted on wanted on warrants for multiple commercial armed robberies from June to August.

The accused, Daniel Loveys, 27, of Calgary, is wanted in connection with these incidents. He is described as Caucasian, between 5’10” and 6’ tall, with a slim build, brown eyes, dark front teeth and glasses. It is believed he recently shaved his head and may have dark hair that is just starting to grow back and stubble on his face.

He faces charges for 22 offences, including multiple counts of robbery and various weapons offences.

According to Calgary police, between Sunday, June 12 and Wednesday, August 24, a man entered six different stores including pet stores, M & M Meat Shops and a convenience store. In each case, it is believed the individual approached the store clerk with an item from the store. When he would reach the till, he would tell the clerk to hand over the money in the till after producing a small knife, switch-blade or, in one case, a machete.

It is believed Loveys is still in Calgary, however his exact whereabouts are unknown.
