HUMBOLDT — One-time Uniplex renters that had to cancel events like weddings due to the pandemic will be able to rent the facility next year at 2020 rates.
“We hope the council will pass it at this meeting tonight to see us be able to extend that olive branch, as it were, to those renters and hopefully we will get to see them come back in our facility in 2021,” said Michael Ulriksen, the community services director.
The decision was made at the May 25 council meeting.
The director said the decision would have a small financial effect on the city. He added this decision wouldn’t cover all of the renters that were scheduled to have events at the Uniplex.
