Cash stolen at knifepoint

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 38 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, June 6 and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 7. Among those calls were two false alarms, five municipal bylaw/noise complaints and three traffic related complaints.

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 38 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, June 6 and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 7.


Among those calls were two false alarms, five municipal bylaw/noise complaints and three traffic related complaints.


Friday


9:27 a.m. - Report of an attempted break and enter to a business on Railway Avenue. Nothing missing and minor damage.


12:22 p.m. - Complaint of a terminated employee refusing to return keys belonging to a business.


12:25 p.m. - Complaint of an assault in the 1400 block of 101st Street. Still under investigation.


2:13 p.m. - Report of break and enter to a residence in the 1600 block of 103rd Street. Still under investigation.


2:42 p.m. - Complaint through 911 of harassment. Determined to be unfounded.


3:17 p.m. - Report of a suspicious man checking vehicles on 103rd Street. Man was not located.


4:13 p.m. - Report of a man shooting a pellet gun out the window of a truck in the 1900 block of 102nd Street. Vehicle located and a toy gun was seized and man warned.


4:31 p.m. - A 65-year-old man located intoxicated and causing a disturbance in the 1200 block of 100th Street. He was arrested and later released. Charges pending.


5:06 p.m. - A 45-year-old man located intoxicated on Railway Avenue. He was arrested and later released facing a charge under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act.


7:46 p.m. - Complaint of a domestic assault in the 1400 block of 106th Street. Determined no assault occurred.


7:57 p.m. - Report of two women fighting on 11th Avenue. Fight over when members arrived, matter mediated and women sent their separate ways.


8:11 p.m. - Complaint of a theft of vehicle from Laurier Crescent. The vehicle was returned prior to members attending and no charges pending.


8:15 p.m. - Report of an assault in the trailer park. Determined to be a consensual fight.


9:41 p.m. - An male perpetrator entered a business on the 1100 block of 107th Street armed with a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed during the incident.


9:49 p.m. - Complaint of two missing female youths. Both returned home on their own.


9:54 p.m. - Report of a 22-year-old man bear spraying a 34-year-old man at a residence in the 1400 block of 112th Street. The male suspect left prior to police attending. Charges are pending.


11:46 p.m. - Report of a break and enter to a residence in the 1000 block of 110th Street. Still under investigation.


Saturday


4:46 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated and unwanted man at a residence in the 1500 block of 103rd Street. A 39-year-old man was arrested and later released without charges.
