North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 70 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, June 19 and 6 a.m. Friday, June 19.

Thursday

• There was a report just after 1:00 a.m. that a chain saw was stolen out of a vehicle while it was parked on the 1000 block of 107th Street.

• At 5:12 p.m. officers responded to a report of a group of people fighting in the back alley on the 2000 block of 101st Street. Officers did not find anyone fighting at that location, but one man was found in the area that was arrested for outstanding warrants.

• There was a complaint around 8 p.m. of an intoxicated woman in the parking lot of a business on Carlton Trail who was causing a disturbance by yelling at patrons. The woman was given a ride to a residence where she could be looked after and there were no further issues.

• There was a report that a red Honda three wheeler had been stolen from outside a residence in rural Battleford this morning

• Officers attended the parking lot of a business on the 1800 block of 100th Street after a report of an altercation that was taking place there. One of the people involved was reported to have a machete. A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Friday

• There was a report at just after 1 a.m. of an intoxicated man on the 900 block of 102nd Street. The man was extremely intoxicated and was taken to the hospital.

• After complaints of people going through yards and checking vehicles doors around 2 a.m., one male youth was arrested and he has pending charges in relation to the incident.

• Officers went to the 2000 block of Douglas Avenue after there was a complaint around 3 a.m. of a man and woman yelling at each other on the street. The fight was only verbal, but there were no physical injuries. Both parties went their separate ways for the night.

• At 5:05 a.m. officers were requested to attend a residence in Red Pheasant First Nation after there was a report of a fight at that location. A 55-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault in relation to the incident.

There were also seven disturbances reported, four traffic complaints, three minor collisions, one nuisance 911 call, three false alarms, and one person reported missing who was located immediately.
