This is a big week for the new 2014 Battlefords Chamber of Commerce president Ryan Moe.
The Chamber directors officially unanimously elected him Tuesday as president.
Moe, of G and C Asphalt Ltd., was first vice-president this past year.
Moe and other Chamber officers will be officially sworn in Thursday at the annual President's Banquet at the Tropical Inn, an event that will also feature a keynote speech from Saskatchewan Chamber CEO Steve McLellan.
Other members of the Chamber executive appointed Tuesday are 2013 president Sharon Mohagen, of Blue Rentals, who now serves as past-president, Brendon Boothman of RBC Dominion Securities as first vice-president, Jay Bottomley of Oil Can Charlie's as second vice-president and Meghan Kennedy of TD Bank as treasurer.
Councillor Ryan Bater is re-appointed to serve as North Battleford's representative on the board and Councillor Ames Leslie is re-appointed as Battleford's representative.
Linda Machniak also serves on the executive as the Battlefords Chamber's executive director. A member-at-large from the board will be chosen Jan. 28 at the annual meeting, which will be the first meeting for the newly-elected directors for 2014-15.
