Battlefords RCMP were involved in approximately 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Monday, Dec. 19
9:30 a.m. – A 44-year-old woman arrested on 102nd Street in North Battleford for a violation of a 24-hour curfew. Facing one count of failing to comply with an undertaking and held in custody until provincial court Tuesday.
10:38 a.m. – Two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Territorial Drive and Carlton Trail in North Battleford. One vehicle was towed from scene. No injuries reported. One driver has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act for driving through a red light.
10:45 a.m. - Hit and run to a vehicle parked on the 200 block of 20th Street West in Battleford overnight. Possible suspect vehicle is described as a late 2000s Chevrolet Silverado, possibly dark blue.
12:35 p.m. - Report of a damaged realty sign on 110th Street in North Battleford. Subject responsible was identified and an agreement of payment for damages was reached. No charges pursued.
2:30 p.m. – A 58-year-old man arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. Found intoxicated on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford. Held in custody until his first appearance in provincial court Tuesday.
4:00 p.m. - Wallet reported stolen from a vehicle parked on 8th Avenue in North Battleford sometime in the early afternoon.
9:26 p.m. - Report on ongoing harassment involving complainant and a former partner. Has been occurring in and around the city of North Battleford.
10:50 p.m. - Report of a stolen wallet from a business on the 900 block of 102nd Street in North Battleford.
One arrest was made for an alcohol/disturbance offence and police responded to one false/nuisance 911 call, two Child Welfare Act matters, 17 disturbance complaints, one Mental Health Act matter, one bylaw complaint, three minor collisions and four traffic investigations.
