The City of North Battleford has developed a survey to find out what, if any, improvements need to made to parking in downtown North Battleford.
City Planner, Tim LaFreniere, says the survey is designed to determine how convenient the current parking situation is and whether changes are necessary.
"The availability of parking affects everyone differently. It is important to understand how often residents frequent the downtown and whether parking is convenient and adequate when they do visit the area."
LaFrenier says information gathered from the 18-question survey will provide insight on how people are using existing parking services and help identify opportunities to improve downtown parking.
"At the end of the short survey we ask people to rate the availability of downtown parking," says LaFreniere. "We all know that parking is limited; this survey will provide a better understanding of the community's needs and help assess opportunities to improve service provided by existing parking."
The survey is available on the home page of the City website (www.cityofnb.ca) for online completion or download. Paper copies are also available at City Hall. Surveys must be submitted by Monday, Dec. 3.
