The City of Humboldt has been working on clearing priority one roads since the heavy snowfall that started March 3.

In a resent press release, the city are advising residents that they are moving on to residential areas and will be working "day and night" to get them cleared.

"If possible, please park in driveways or other areas that have already been cleared so the crews can do a cleaner job on your street. This will also help when recycling pickup occurs on Thursday and Friday," said the press release.

Ridges over driveways will occur, warns the city. This is difficult to avoid considering the amount of snow.

City snow removal is based on pre-determined criteria with Highways & Arterial Roads, School Zones and Collector Roads, and Residential Collector Roads topping the list for plowing priority.
