SPIRITWOOD — Sept. 5, the Spiritwood graduating class of 1965 gathered at the Spiritwood Golf Course for a 50 years later, reunion.
Seven of the nine graduates were able to attend. They enjoyed an afternoon visiting and reminiscing then a barbecue supper cooked by Jim and Don and accompanied by a variety of dishes, including many salads and desserts.
Jim and Adele (Gagne) Horn live at Warman, Harold and Marjie Fast live in Saskatoon, Gordon Ferster lives in Spiritwood and Don and Jo Graham live at Qualicum Beach. Joyce (Noble) and Maurice Carriere and Carol (Booth) and Jack Boechler are in Spiritwood. Donna (Pearson) and Albert Lambert are in Leduc, Alta. Phyllis (Franson) Mayo is at Sylvan Lake, Alta. and Beth (Purdy) and Cliff Carter are in Edmonton.
It was a wonderful time for all attending, and hope another reunion can be held again, before too many years pass.
