City administration has been working with property owners regarding cleanup from fires that happened in the city.

North Battleford Fire Chief Albert Headrick was asked about a property on 15th Avenue at council Monday, and he confirmed there had been discussions with the property owner at that location about cleaning it up. An order was going to be issued and Headrick believes something should be done about it by the end of the month.

Another property gutted by fire a number of months ago was the duplex on 104th Street.

Headrick told council the insurance company has required a company to go in and do repairs, and the property has been boarded up. He pledged more follow up on the status of that property.
