North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings held their regular meeting on Monday, Sept.1.
The clinics are preparing for the implantation of the new Electronic Medical Record Program the beginning of October. The training for all physicians and staff will be held the last week of September and first week of October and it may be necessary to close one or more of the clinics for a short period of time, Please be aware of the possible closures and check well ahead with the clinics for an appointment. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
The clinics continue to be very busy, especially with the flu season just around the corner. If you have booked an appointment that will be no longer needed, please let the clinic know. It is very frustrating for the staff practitioners when there is an opening that could have been made available to someone in need. A quick phone call to notify the staff would be greatly appreciated.
Prairie North Health Region and NSRMHH continue to work with a physician through the Saskatchewan International Assessment Physician Program (SIPPA). Dr. Mpomposhe has completed the first portion of the program and will move on to the field assessment the last week of September. We are hopeful she will be able to start her practice here by the end of November.
The board was informed of the resignation of Nurse Practitioner Natalie Warrington. They wish to express their appreciation of Natalie's contributions to our practise and wish her all the best.
The next regular meeting of the North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings Board will be held Monday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 in the R.M. of Mervin office, Turtleford.
