The North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings held their regular meeting Dec. 5.

The clinics continue to be busy and the board expressed their appreciation to the physicians, nurse practitioners and staff who have been willing to take on the extra work required to keep all clinics running efficiently.

The NSRMHH clinics will be closed Dec. 26 and 27 and Jan. 2. They will be closed in conjunction with Prairie North Health Region staff holidays to ensure lab services are available when the clinics are open.

The NSRMHH board has hired Kim Macnab as a causal worker. She will be completing training at the Turtleford clinic, as well as St. Walburg, Edam and Glaslyn clinics.

The board reviewed and approved the 2017 budget and welcomed back Dr. Odiegwu as she returns from leave Jan. 9. The board also announced that Dr. Odiegwu has renewed her contract for two more years.

The next regular meeting of the board is Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in RM of Mervin office in Turtleford.

Anyone with questions is welcome to contact the office at 306-845-4144.
