The Canadian National Institute of the Blind (CNIB) in Maidstone is celebrating another successful campaign of fundraising in 2011.
More than $4,000 was raised for the CNIB in Maidstone district during their fall canvass in 2011.
The organizers say the canvass was made a success by the generosity of donors, as well as the 22 volunteers who worked to collect the donations.
Last time, nearly $4,000 was raised in their canvass, so the 2011 campaign achieved the goal of topping the previous year's total. The campaign took place in Maidstone as well as the surrounding areas.
Organizers would like to send out a big thank you to everyone involved in the campaign, both in collecting and in donating to the cause.
