A Battleford man has been arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
Ian Dusty Gopher, age 39, was arrested May 1 by the Battlefords RCMP Provincial and Municipal General Investigative Sections.
According to RCMP, subsequent searches and the execution of a search warrant at Gopher's residence, resulted in the seizure of approximately eight grams of cocaine, as well as cash and other drug paraphernalia.
Gopher faces the trafficking charge as well as other drug-related and proceeds-of-crime offences. He appeared in provincial court Monday, was released, and is due back in court May 20.
