As expected, final reading took place this week on the City of North Battleford’s new code of ethics bylaw.
The bylaw to establish a code of ethics for the City’s elected officials was introduced at the last meeting and second and third reading took place to pass the bylaw Monday.
The bylaw requires more ethical and disclosure requirements of the mayor and councillors, and is in line with new provincial legislation that came in on the date of the municipal election.
