Conservation officers looking for mule deer buck with Christmas lights tangled in antlers

HUMBOLDT — Humboldt area conservation officers are asking for the public’s help to locate a mule deer buck that has a string of Christmas lights tangled in its antlers. The deer was reported within the Humboldt community on Dec. 8.

HUMBOLDT — Humboldt area conservation officers are asking for the public’s help to locate a mule deer buck that has a string of Christmas lights tangled in its antlers.

The deer was reported within the Humboldt community on Dec. 8.

Officers are hoping to tranquilize the animal and remove the strand of lights.

If the animal is spotted, do not approach it. Keep your distance and call conservation officers or the contact the ministry’s Turn in Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line at 1-800-667-7561 (#5555 for SaskTel cellular subscribers).
