The provincial coroner has been called in to help investigate a man's death in North Battleford.
According to the RCMP, at 10 a.m. Monday, members received a call about a man in medical distress.
RCMP assisted EMS at the scene, and the man was transported by ambulance to Battlefords Union Hospital. He was pronounced dead later in the morning.
The RCMP are now investigating the cause of death with the assistance of the provincial coroner.
The name of the victim is being withheld until family members are notified.
