It was another quiet 24 hours as Battlefords RCMP responded to fewer than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19.

It was another quiet 24 hours as Battlefords RCMP responded to fewer than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19.

One of those calls was response to a false alarm and one false/nuisance 911 call was received.

Wednesday

9:20 a.m. - License plate stolen off a vehicle parked on 1000 block of 107th Street sometime overnight.

3:17 p.m. - 32-year-old man arrested after turning himself in on outstanding warrants. Released for court date in New Year.

5:06 p.m. - Report of an assault on St. Laurent Drive. Victim with minor injuries. Suspect identified to members, matter under investigation.

5:43 p.m. - Unwanted person reported in residence on 105th Street. Subject no longer there when checked.

8:22 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at 11th Avenue and 100th Street. No injuries, one vehicle had to be towed from scene. Cause of collision still under investigation. No determination on charges yet made.

8:31 p.m. - Complaint of criminal harassment made. Investigation ongoing.

Thursday

12:50 a.m. - 911 call of an assault at a residence on 108th Street. Alleged victim did not wish to co-operate with police. No injuries or signs of struggle noted by responding members.

1:20 a.m. - 911 call of an unknown, intoxicated man knocking at a house door on 102nd Street. 40-year-old man located and arrested for being intoxicated in public, held in custody until sober.

1:53 a.m. - 911 call of two unwanted guests at a residence on Diefenbaker Drive refusing to leave. 20-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man arrested at residence for being unlawfully in a dwelling and held in custody until sober. No charges pursued.

3:15 a.m. - 23-year-old man arrested on 101st Street for outstanding warrants from Saskatoon. Released for court date in Saskatoon in the New Year.
