Blaine Lake RCMP were led on a pursuit by the driver of a stolen vehicle after a Blaine Lake homeowner discovered a man in his residents at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26.
A man and a woman from the Saskatoon area face several charges and appeared in a Saskatoon court Friday.
When discovered, the perpetrators of the break and enter fled in a stolen Dodge half-ton bearing stolen Alberta licence plates, police say. They were located travelling west on Highway 40. West of Hafford they turned onto a gravel road and, according to RCMP, the two individuals were apprehended after they drove down a dead-end road.
Darin Russel Gustafson (48), and Rebecca Dawn Yaremko (26) are charged with numerous criminal code charges including break and enter, flight from police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and numerous breaches of conditions.
