CARROT RIVER — Dennis Letendre won the Carrot River’s mayoral election, in what the town is calling “the best” electoral turnout in 20 years.
A total of 348 ballots were cast each for both mayor and council.
For mayor, Letendre received 153; Mike Livermore received 113; Brock Irvine received 45; and Ila B. J. Boehm received 37.
For council, the elected councilors include Chris Bergen, with 296 votes; Al Frecon, with 292 votes; Chad Trombley, with 289 votes; Dylan Borody, with 226 votes; Neal Wasko, with 226 votes; and Carrie Neigel, with 214 votes.
