The Highway 4 construction project through Battleford is an ongoing work in progress. A traffic advisory earlier this week indicated a detour would be set up Wednesday, but that directive has now been changed to Friday. So, be ready for some delays as soutbound traffic approaching Battleford from the North Saskatchewan River Bridge on Highway 4 will be diverted to a u-turn on Highway 16, west of town Friday, weather permitting. The eastbound Highway 16 off ramp will be used to enter the Town of Battleford. There will be flag people on location. This detour is expected to last the entire day starting at 7 a.m. with the lane opening to normal traffic flow before dark.
