District No. 35 maps out activities

A meeting of the District No. 35 4-H council was held Oct. 18 Tina Jones is the district president, Lynette Richards is the vice-president and Michael Jones is the junior president. The treasurer is Ellen Oddan and the secretary is Kassidy Doepker.

Tina Jones is the district president, Lynette Richards is the vice-president and Michael Jones is the junior president. The treasurer is Ellen Oddan and the secretary is Kassidy Doepker. Doug Sroka and Jackie Payne are the district reporters.

The district representatives for the annual provincial meeting are Leanne Doud and Doug Sroka.

Members discussed how to get extra credit in high school with 4-H.

Appreciation to past 4-H leaders will come in the form of a 4-H Hall of Fame Banquet. If you know of anyone who might be eligible please contact Mary-Ann Carson at 306-893-2729.

District public speaking will be held at the Waseca Hall March 10.

District curling is in Maidstone Dec. 27.

Members met Northwest regional specialist, Kelsey Dust. There are 13 clubs in the district this year.
