Battlefords RCMP responded to 69 calls for service between 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4.

12:15 p.m. - Complaint of break and enter to residence on Sweetgrass First Nation, investigation ongoing.

1:40 p.m. - Report of partially burned out vehicle located west of Cando. Investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier out of Saskatoon, investigation ongoing.

3:27 p.m. - Complaint of an aggressive dog chasing the complainant away from their vehicle on the 1100 block of 105th Street in North Battleford, ongoing issue, referred to the Community Safety Officers for follow up.

6:52 p.m. - Reported erratic driver on Highway 16 between Maymont and North Battleford. Located and found to be impaired by alcohol, charges pending against a 36-year-old North Battleford man.

8:40 p.m. - Young offender reported as being unlawfully at large from the Drumming Hill Youth Centre. Located shortly thereafter at his mother's residence and taken into custody.

9:29 p.m. - Call to assist Social Services with child welfare check in North Battleford, at residence where all adults were reportedly intoxicated and the infant children being neglected. Social Services following up accordingly.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

2:43 a.m. - Suspected impaired driver stopped on the 900 block of 101st Street in North Battleford. Breath tests reveal the driver was over twice the legal blood alcohol limit, impaired driving charges are pending against a 23-year-old Lloydminster man.

4:54 a.m. - Complaint of assault on the 1400 block of 100th Street in North Battleford, investigation ongoing.

5:47 a.m. - Complaint of theft of a motor vehicle from a garage on Clements Drive in North Battleford, investigation is ongoing.

Police also responded to 11 false/nuisance 911 calls, 11 minor disturbance reports, four alarms, two Mental Health Act complaints, 10 traffic investigations, eight minor property damage complaints, three subjects who were arrested for alcohol related offences, eight breach of conditions and 11 minor theft/shoplifting complaints.
