Three people have been charged after another drug bust in North Battleford by the RCMP.
The latest bust took place Friday when RCMP from the North Battleford municipal, provincial and general investigation sections, as well as the North Battleford police dog service, searched a residence on Winder Crescent for drugs.
According to RCMP, a significant quantity of marijuana and cash were seized, as was a vehicle. Charged are: Donovan Laviolette, age 26; Breanna Fletcher, age 20; and Shawn Fortin, age 21.
Laviolette and Fletcher are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. Fortin's charge is for possession of a controlled substance. All are scheduled to appear in North Battleford provincial court Dec. 8.
