TISDALE — Tisdale RCMP seized what’s strongly suspected to be crystal methamphetamine at a traffic stop.
The June 9 stop lead to a search warrant being performed on a Tisdale residence, where more of the substance was found. As of June 20, tests hadn’t been completed on the substance to confirm that it was crystal meth.
Dustin Tait was arrested and saw his first appearance in court June 19.
S/Sgt. Daryl Andrusiak, the Tisdale RCMP's commanding officer, encouraged the public to be diligent and report any suspicious activity in and around Tisdale to the police.
“In this case, there was some concerns from the public about this particular residence that led us to have a bit of a heightened interest in it,” he said. “That’s what those types of reports can lead to.”
