Torching a dumpster is one way to celebrate the beginning of a new school year, but it is unlikely North Battleford Fire Department crews were amused when they were called out to douse a blaze behind North Battleford Comprehensive High School Monday.
The call came in at 10:30 p.m. and four firefighters spent about 20 minutes at the scene.
NBFD reports the damage was contained to the dumpster.
