EAST CENTRAL — Environmental Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region around Humboldt.
“Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain,” said Environmental Canada’s statement. “Isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon or this evening and track northeastward across southeastern Saskatchewan through the evening.”
The watch was issued at 3:08 pm on June 28.
Community that are under the watch include Humboldt, Watson, LeRoy, Jansen, Spalding, Muenster, Lanigan, Drake, Burr and Guernsey.
