Erratic driving puts crew in danger

The North Battleford RCMP report more than 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, June 9 and 6 a.m. Friday, June 20, including six false alarms,six traffic related complaints andthree false/nuisance 911 calls.

Thursday

6:59 a.m. - Report of an erratic driver on Territorial Drive North, almost struck a road construction crew. Vehicle and two suspects located a short time later and arrested. The driver has since been identified, and a 34-year-old male has charges of impaired driving currently pending.

9:48 a.m. - Report of a male patient missing from hospital. Several locations checked without success, male returned on his own later in afternoon.

10:09 a.m. - Hit and run reported while parked in a parking lot at Frontier Mall some time this morning.

10:51 a.m. - Report of a woman approaching complainant at her work and yelling at her and wanting to fight. No physical altercation on this occasion, investigation ongoing.

1:21 p.m. - Break and enter to a residence on 107th Street. An 8-year-old youth was found hiding on property and taken into custody until turned over to guardian. Investigation ongoing.

2:19 p.m. - Called reporting she was assaulted a short time earlier by an unknown female near 20th Avenue and 100th Street.

3:33 p.m. - 24-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street after complaint subject was staggering across the street into traffic.

4:34 p.m. - Complaint of two intoxicated individuals on 101st Street. Both located and dealt with by members.

5:21 p.m. - 20-year-old woman arrested and facing three counts of theft under $5,000 after found with property from at least three businesses on Territorial Drive North.

6:26 p.m. - Complainant reporting being harassed. Ongoing issues between a former couple. Remains under investigation.

9:29 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested and charged with public intoxication after report of a very intoxicated person on 101st Street who told members she was not drunk, she just has cancer.

Friday

12:11 a.m. - 12-year-old reported missing, last seen around 8 p.m. Came home on his own a short time after complaint.

2:30 a.m. - 31-year-old male from Alberta arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle stop on 100th Street.
