North Battleford Fire Department was called upon to apply extraction expertise after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 16 and Battleford Road Thursday just before 10 p.m.
One victim of the crash had to be extracted from the vehicle and was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital by ambulance, according to NBFD.
Firefighters spent almost an hour at the scene.
