The fire department promotes the importance of fire drills, and firefighters participated in a drill of sorts Sunday at about 7:30 p.m.
One pumper and two firefighters from North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire alarm at 2311 - Ross Cres., but investigation revealed the alarm had sounded due to a malfunction.
Saturday at about 1:30 p.m. firefighters assisted at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at Territorial Mall and Territorial Drive. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, according to NBFES, and there were no injuries.
