The recent string of suspected vandalism across the community hit Lawrence School Thursday.
A playground slide was destroyed by fire, according to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services. The incident took place at the school grounds on 102nd street, around 5:55 a.m.
Two apparatus and five fire personnel were on the scene for about 13 minutes. Unfortunately the playground slide was destroyed.
Also on the scene was RCMP and EMS, but no injuries were reported. The fire is being treated as suspicious.
