NORTHEAST — Fire bans across the province have been lifted due to recent rain.
The province-wide ban on open fires for all provincial Crown land south of the Churchill River is over. Campfire restrictions in provincial parks and recreation sites in and around the Northeast has been lifted except for Narrow Hills, Candle Lake and Great Blue Heron provincial parks. The fire ban for Prince Albert National Park remains in place.
Fire bans have also been lifted for the area around Nipawin, including the Town of Nipawin, Nipawin Regional Park, RM of Torch River, RM of Nipawin, Village of Aylsham, Village of Codette, Village of Love, Village of White Fox, Wapiti Valley Resort and the Resort Village of Tobin Lake.
