Firefighters had to deal with a large stubble fire Monday evening east of the Battlefords.
The fire was located on Grid No. 687, two miles north of Highway 16 in the Denholm area.
According to North Battleford Fire Department, approximately a quarter section or 180 acres were affected. They responded with eight firefighters, one pumper, two brush trucks and a water tanker.
No buildings were involved and no injuries were reported.
