North Battleford Fire were on the scene at a residential structure fire on Wednesday night.
The fire was reported shortly before 9:10 p.m. on the 900 block of 105th Street.
Three engines, one chief unit and 12 firefighters were on the scene, according to the fire department’s news release. According to the fire department, fire crews found the house fully involved on arrival. They were able to do a quick knock down to gain access to the structure to do a search. Fortunately, the occupants had evacuated the property and were later located.
The fire was soon brought under control. There were five apparatus and 12 personnel on the scene for three hours and 30 minutes.
Also attending were the RCMP, North Battleford Bylaw Enforcement, EMS, SaskPower and SaskEnergy. There were no injuries, and damage is estimated at around $150000. The origin of the fire remains under investigation.
