FOND DU LAC - Fond Du Lac RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an adult male who escaped while being held in custody at the local detachment.
He was last seen on Main Road, in the area of the Fond Du Lac RCMP Detachment at approximately 12:30 a.m. on May 4. He fled on foot, travelling south.
Thirty-nine-year-old Richard McDonald was remanded into custody on May 2 in relation to a number of charges including assault, resisting arrest and mischief.
McDonald is described as approximately 5’10” and 209 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and black sweatpants with white lettering. He was not wearing any shoes. Given the cold temperature in Fond Du Lac, officers are concerned for his well-being.
