Humboldt RCMP are looking for two suspects who fled from police in Bruno two days ago.
A member of the Humboldt RCMP was on patrol in Bruno at 1:15 a.m. on September 19 when a Chrysler Intrepid sedan was spotted travelling a back alley west of Main St., reported Const. Keven Bauer.
The vehicle was travelling very slowly and appeared suspicious, which was why the office attempted to stop the vehicle.
The vehicle came to a halt, but as it did so, all four occupants of the car jumped out and fled.
More local RCMP officers were called in to help search for the suspects and two were eventually located and arrested.
A 20-year-old man appeared in Humboldt Provincial Court on September 19 and was remanded into police custody, awaiting a court appearance in Saskatoon on September 21.
The second suspect located, a 24-year-old male, was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant, and so was transported back to the federal penitentiary in Prince Albert. He had been out on parole, but violated a condition of that parole, which resulted in the issued warrant, Bauer indicated.
Two more suspects are still being sought by police.
RCMP believe the car they were driving was likely stolen.
No names of the accused have been released at this time.
The RCMP investigation into this matter is continuing.
