Four men in custody; firearms and drugs recovered

Battlefords RCMP is reporting four males are now in custody following a vehicle stop on the 1100 block of 101st Street in North Battleford. The vehicle stop happened right after 3 am on Thursday, May 3.

Battlefords RCMP is reporting four males are now in custody following a vehicle stop on the 1100 block of 101st Street in North Battleford.

The vehicle stop happened right after 3 am on Thursday, May 3. RCMP are reporting that two firearms, cash and a small amount of drugs were recovered at the scene.

The individuals remain in custody and charges are still pending. One of the men, age 21, is also wanted in Saskatoon for being unlawfully at large.
 
The vehicle stop and arrests are a result of "enhanced targeted enforcement initiatives" conducted by the Battleford RCMP with support from the City of North Battleford. The investigation continues; a decision on charges is expected later on Thursday. Names have not been released by the RCMP as of yet.
