From the minute to the gigantic, horses of all sizes will parade the streets of Battleford Saturday, raising funds for the Empty Stocking Fund.

"All of us cowboys and cowgirls are inviting everyone to come out Saturday, Nov. 12 to take part or watch and support the fourth annual Cowboy Christmas Parade," says Ray Cox, parade organizer.

" We hope to see the town of Battlefordfull of cheering families as we parade to support the Empty Stocking Fund."

There will be hot drinks available at the gazebo in town and Santa Claus will be stopping by to meet the children. Santa will be accepting any and all un-wrapped gifts for the children for Christmas.

For those who wish to take part in the parade, (horses, riders, wagons and walkers only) no motorized vehicles permitted, registration starts at 11 a.m. at Fort Battleford and the parade starts at 1 p.m. sharp.

"I hear for those who attend the parade, Santa may be offering a Christmas special on my Simple Country CD with proceeds to help the Empty Stocking Fund as well.

"See y'all Saturday no matter what the weather ... we ride!"
