Adele Kaminsky of AK Financial Planning Services of North Battleford will be facing allegations of securities fraud in excess of $500,000 at a hearing set for April 6, 2015.

In a press release, Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan alleges Kaminsky sold investments to Saskatchewan investors in a supposed company called Enviro-Can Private Placement. According to FCAA, Kaminsky is believed to have taken investors' funds into her personal accounts and used them for her personal benefit. Kaminsky now faces allegations that she knew, or reasonably ought to have known, she was perpetrating a fraud on investors.

FCAA reports Kaminsky also faces allegations in relation to foreign currency trading for acting as a fund manager, securities dealer and securities adviser while not registered to do so.

A Cease Trade Order was issued March 12 and remains in effect until Feb. 27, 2015; FCAA may extend the order.

Anyone who has information concerning the allegations against Adele Kaminsky, or who has information on any other questionable person or company soliciting investments, should contact FCAA's Securities Division at 306-787-5645.
