Fraud complaint leads to arrest

It was a busy 24 hours for Battlefords RCMP as they responded to about 25 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Thursday, March 6 and 6 a.m. Friday, March 7. Thursday 8:21 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 20th Avenue. No injuries.

It was a busy 24 hours for Battlefords RCMP as they responded to about 25 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Thursday, March 6 and 6 a.m. Friday, March 7.

Thursday

8:21 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 20th Avenue. No injuries. Accident still under investigation.

9:47 a.m. -Report of assault at residence on the 1400 block of 101st Street. Upon police arrival a 28-year-old man was arrested. Investigation is ongoing.

10:14 a.m. - Report of a fraud at a local business on the 1100 block of 100th Street. A 36-year-old woman was arrested. Investigation isongoing.

5:01 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on the 1600 block of 100th street. No injuries reported. Accident is still under investigation.

9:31 p.m. - Report of a missing youth who was located a short time after the complaint.

Friday

1:04 a.m. - Report of unwanted intoxicated male in a residence located on the 1400 block of 114th street. A 23-year-old man was removed without incident.
