Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 40 new occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25.
Tuesday, Jan. 24
10:21 a.m. - Fraud over $5,000 reported. Complainant and suspect are known to each other. Incident alleged to have occurred in December.
2:59 p.m. - Red 2013 Kia Forte reported stolen from a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation. Vehicle was later recovered, having been completely consumed by fire.
6:10 p.m. - Break and enter to a residence on the 1300 block of 108th Street in North Battleford sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. Personal electronics reported stolen.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
12:53 a.m. - Report of harassing communication. Complainant receiving regular unwanted messages from a known suspect in North Battleford. The matter remains under investigation.
Police arrested one person for alcohol/disturbance related offences and responded to four false/nuisance 911 calls, seven traffic matters, one child welfare complaint, one alarm, seven disturbances, one minor collision, one reported missing person who has since been located and two drug seizures made.
