WPD ambulance responded to three separate motor vehicle collisions Saturday morning between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., a morning marked by light freezing rain in the North Battleford area.
At a two vehicle collision five km west of North Battleford on Highway 40, six patients were assessed, however none had sustained injuries.
At the same time, WPD ambulance responded to another motor vehicle collision four km west of North Battleford on Highway 26. Ten vehicles were involved, however no injuries were sustained and none were transported to hospital.
One hour later, WPD ambulance responded to another motor vehicle collision 10 km south of Glaslyn. Multiple semi trailer units had slid into the ditch along with an STC passenger bus.
Fortunately, no passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.
Paramedics assessed seven patients, and again no injuries were sustained and no patients were transported to hospital.
