As part of the Frontier Centre's "40 Days of Thanks for 40 Years" to celebrate the  shopping centre's 40th birthday in the community, all the staff who work at the Frontier Centre got together to support a worthwhile organization in North Battleford.

A collection of gently used clothing and food was collected from among all staff from the 23 tenants of the Centre and donated to Lighthouse Supported Living, which resulted in five large shopping carts of donations.

As well, Warehouse One donated clothing items, Zeke's Jewellers donated new dress shoes and Dollarama donated new clothing and toiletries.

The Lighthouse Supported Living exists to provide emergency shelter, supported living, and affordable housing to those in need in North Battleford. In addition to providing 36 beds, meals and laundry services, the Lighthouse in the Battlefords also puts on movie nights and game nights for their clients.

There is also a stabilization unit which provides support for those under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They also seek to connect their clients to permanent housing opportunities, providing housing applications and assistance in helping to fill out forms.
