Battlefords RCMP responded to 59 calls for service during the period of 6 a.m. Monday, April 3 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 4 including the following:

Monday, April 3

10:15 a.m. - Unknown persons hit a black 2009 Chevrolet pickup truck while it was parked at a business on the 600 block of Carlton Trail in North Battleford.

11:41 a.m. - Call of fuel tanks on fire in North Battleford. RCMP attended along with North Battleford Fire Department. Fire was extinguished and the matter is under investigation.

4:19 p.m. - Unknown persons hit a white 2016 Lincoln MKX while it was parked at a business on the 1100 block of Railway Avenue in North Battleford.

5:34 p.m. - Report of a child walking down street alone in North Battleford. Police attended, child located and returned home. Parents had been looking for her as she had got out of the house on her own.

5:47 p.m. - Report of a black Hyundai Tucson being stolen from the 1200 block of 108th Street in North Battleford.

Tuesday, April 4

2:21 a.m. - Report of assault in North Battleford. Police attended and one person was arrested under the Mental Health Act due to suicidal threats. Subject was taken to the hospital for further assessment.

Battlefords RCMP responded to 53 other called for service under Provincial and Criminal Code Statutes during this time.
