Girlfriend robs man at knife point

North Battleford RCMP responded to more than 30 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Thursday, May 29 and 6 a.m. Friday, May 30. Among those calls were four false alarms, four traffic related matters and two bylaw/noise complaints.

Thursday


6:18 a.m. - Call to assist ambulance personnel on 16th Avenue. Elderly man had fallen in home and was injured and doors all secured. Entry gained and subject treated for injuries.


7:05 a.m. - Few reports of a young child unattended on 99th Street walking around. Child located and returned home, had snuck out unnoticed several minutes earlier.


8:28 a.m. - 20- and 25-year-old men and a 22-year-old woman arrested on Territorial Drive East for possession of marijuana after a call of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Charges still pending. 25-year-old man is facing charges of refusing to provide a breath sample.


9:14 a.m. - 31-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 103rd Street.


1:18 p.m. - 54-year-old woman arrested and charged after complaint of intoxicated person causing problems at a business.


1:19 p.m. - 911 call, complainant purchased items from a vendor and now wanted money back and the vendor was refusing. Not a police matter and warned regarding misuse of 911 system.


1:42 p.m. - 36-year-old woman arrested for causing a disturbance, found intoxicated by patrolling members on 101st Street.


4:24 p.m. - Bike versus vehicle collision at a crosswalk on Territorial Drive. No injuries reported. Collision remains under investigation.


7:11 p.m. - Report of intoxicated people causing problems near a business on 101st Street. 65-year-old man and 42-year-old woman arrested and charged with public intoxication.


8:20 p.m. - 45-year-old woman arrested for mischief after complaint of unwanted, intoxicated person at a residence on Winder Crescent. No charges pursued.


9:25 p.m. - Another unwanted, intoxicated guest complaint, this one on 107th Street. Subject left voluntarily.


9:45 p.m. - Report of a robbery on 113th Street. Complainant's girlfriend asked him for some money. When he said no, she left and returned with a large knife and asked him for money again. Charges currently pending for robbery and uttering threats against 51-year-old woman who did flee scene with some cash. 


Friday


After midnight: Man arrested for mischief, found going through a vehicle. Remains in custody and investigation ongoing.


37-year-old man arrested for possession of stolen property, found biking around with an air compressor that he admitted to stealing because the owner assaulted him. Investigation ongoing.


1:38 a.m. - Unwanted intoxicated person at a home on 108th, left residence when police called and not located.


2:28 a.m. - Two people drinking together at a residence on Winder Crescent. When complainant asked other person to leave, the other person hit the complainant. 21-year-old woman was arrested on scene and has been charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. Complainant did not wish to pursue any assault charges.


3:18 a.m. - 49-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street, found sleeping by patrolling members.


5:09 a.m. - Man hospitalized with head injuries, appears to have been struck by a bottle at a residence on 102nd Street. Victim is believed to know suspect but is not co-operating with initial investigation.
