Glenn George takes lead in Melfort election for mayor by five votes

MELFORT — The unofficial results in Melfort’s mayoral election place former councillor Glenn George as the new mayor, only five votes more than incumbent mayor Rick Lang. While George received 583 votes, Lang received 578.

MELFORT — The unofficial results in Melfort’s mayoral election place former councillor Glenn George as the new mayor, only five votes more than incumbent mayor Rick Lang.

While George received 583 votes, Lang received 578.

Elected members of council include, Tara Muntain, who received 859 votes; April Phillips, who received 822 votes; Trent Mitchell, who received 737 votes; Brian Enge, who received 666 votes; Doug Terry, who received 661 votes; and Time Hoemans, who received 609 votes.
