A local business is once again up for honours at the ABEX Awards to be held Nov. 1 at the Delta Regina Hotel.
Gold Eagle Lodge is up for the ABEX Marketing Award sponsored by Handy Special Events.
They are competing for the award against Dream Development and Farideh Marketing of Regina, North Prairie Developments of Saskatoon and S&E Trusted Online Directories of Saskatoon.
It is the only North Battleford business to be in the running for an ABEX Award.
Other categories include Community Involvement, Growth and Expansion, Innovation, New Business Venture, Service, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Environmental, the Export Award and a new category, Community Cornerstone Award.
In a statement, Steve McLellan, CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, said the judges faced "a significant challenge in selecting who the top businesses were."
"The overall quality of the nominations was stellar this year. Saskatchewan business is really making a name for itself, and we are so pleased to join with presenting sponsor Conexus Credit Union to be able to celebrate these success stories. We received 85 nominations from businesses of every size, every market and every area of the province."
