Grass fires continue to be a concern in North Battleford with a fire ban still in effect in the area.
The latest grass fire was at the intersection of 103rd Street and 5th Avenue in North Battleford. The fire alarm came in shortly before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Two apparatus — a pumper and a brush truck — and five personnel from North Battleford Fire were on the scene for 15 minutes. Also on the scene were RCMP and WPD Ambulance. No injuries were reported.
