Guardians of unattended children identified, but not located

North Battleford RCMP responded to 20 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11.

Over that time period, members made five arrests relating to Alcohol offences. Other investigations included three False or Nuisance 911 calls, two minor disturbances, two Mental Health Act investigations and two minor collisions.

 Police are seeking information into the following incidents:

Wednesday

• A vehicle parked on the 1600 block of 104th Street was reported to have a window damaged sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

• Police called to an apartment on Winder Crescent at 7:40 p.m. about concern of two young children who were left unattended. Upon arrival, two children, both under four, found alone without any supervision. Children have been apprehended by Social Services and were found in good health. Guardians have been identified but have not yet been located. Investigation is ongoing.
