Guilty pleas have been entered by three adults involved in a spree of break and enters committed in North Battleford around March 3.

Both Valen Paul Nicotine, age 19, and Spencer Garry Lee Fox, age 18, entered guilty pleas in North Battleford Provincial Court Friday. Nicotine pled guilty to break and enter, theft and possession of stolen property and was sentenced to two months and 23 days in jail, followed by one year of probation.

Fox was sentenced to a six-month conditional sentence order followed by six months probation after pleading guilty to possession of stolen property.

The third adult accused, Paul Joseph Nicotine, 18, appeared in North Battleford provincial court Monday and pled guilty to one count of break and enter and one count of possession of stolen property. He is due to return to provincial court May 7 for sentencing.

The three adults and some youths were arrested March 4 following several suspicious persons complaints, a vehicle theft and a break and enter into a home on 107th Street. Soon after, RCMP conducted a search on a 107th Street residence in which they said a significant amount of stolen property was recovered.
